Magnificent
Justin Jude has crafted an incredible album with Truce. Hints of blues, folk, roots, country, and pop all come together in a meaningful package in this rock album. The poignancy of "This Ring" and the crowd pleasing pop/rock song "Aching Days" show off the wide ranging talent displayed on this superb album.
Soulful music metacognition with an edge, you have to get this
I learned of this amazingly talented artist while living in pdx and have been following his career since I moved north. This guy sings, writes, plays a mean guitar and does it all with class. But don't be fooled by the folksy blues...he has an edge. If you can catch him live, you are in for a real treat - he's amazing! He is catching the air waves in pxd and just keeps rising. Check out This Ring and the hilarious and catchy Complain Lane. I still can't stop playing Ame + The Rain and Born Again from the It's Love CD.
Can't stop listening- great road trip album!
Can't stop listening to this album! Caught his album release show at Mississippi Studios. Love the way he mixes it up live. Is there a live album in the works?? Portland doesn't have long to savor Justin before he's out touring the nation. This is THE ALBUM for your summer road trip. Everyone loves Out of State and This Ring, but don't miss Folded Wings. I bought Out of State first and had to go back for more. Don't make the same mistake, just pick up the whole album!
