this album is definetly not R&B/soul this album is ok though itunes genre listings are retarded
Old School P5K = the BEST P5K music
If you want to hear what Powerman was really about pick this album and Mega King Fu Radio (originally The Blood Splat Rating System ). Everything after that should not have the Powerman 5k label, specially since only Spyder is the remaining original member. (should 've just renamed or make a new band as far as am concerned, you are not fooling anyone) Anyway , this album and MKFR are the CREAM of Powerman 5K. Hopefully they will play old tunes in their Boston show, not all that new garbage.
Great Hard Funk
PM5K play tight, punchy hard funk on this release and its successor "Mega Kung Fu Radio". If you though the tag funk-metal was a bad thing, think again. These boys know how to play in the pocket like nobody's business, and displays respect for the forefathers while bringing in a genuine heaviness that not many bands in the nu-metal/funk metal genre were able to achieve.
