better than therapy (and much cheaper)
somewhere between the first and last lines of this song, you may find echoes of your own familial experience: be it nostalgic or painful, sentimental or suppressed. meg gives voice to specific images of childhood and marriage--and, in doing so, captures a universal collage of stories in the mix. the listener is left feeling the weight of commitment...the resilience of honorable love...and the necessity of knowing one's self well.

I first saw Meg when she opened up for christine lavin a couple of years ago. She sang this song, and I knew immediately she was someone special. I purchased her latest release at the time "The Crossing" and was hooked. She's a unique talent that I hope will prosper and continue to write songs that speak to your soul. She says in one of her songs she "feels blessed". I agree.
