Album Review
With the rap-rock movement well behind them, Truth Rising finds (hed) p.e. unsatisfied with the idea of resting on their laurels. While it starts out as another screamy, Rage-inspired nu-metal record, filled with skits pertaining to conspiracy theories and chugging songs about governmental mind control, their eighth studio album switches gears hard by the halfway point, when Jahred and his crew start incorporating club jams. “It’s Alright!” is an attempt at dub, “No More Secrets” channels Sublime, and “Murder” is a highly offensive Dirty South sex song.

What happened?
This is not the band I've been jammin to since album #1. They've alienated the true fans. The lyrics seem forced and unnatural. I've bought every cd and i now think it may be time I leave this band behind me and enjoy the music they've made in the past. This is a major letdown. I'm bummed cuz I really really dug the music these guys made but they've changed directions and I'm not feelin this new path.

Could not be more proud of how much this band/movement has accomplished! I've tuned in from Serpent Boy to Children of the Fall and can only conclude an enlightened hardcore joy ride! Love is the Movement! Orphans we are the Family!
