New musical phenomenon
The first album of Propala Gramota presents a new musical phenomenon in Ukrainian contemporary live music. This is mixture of styles, which is based on polyrhythms, Podolsky archaic elements of folklore and traditional areas of Western musical culture (hip-hop, fusion, funk).
Electrical sounding of Propala Gramota alternates with acoustic, gracefully changing it nature. Album "Tseyvo" includes original compositions, as well as the interpretation of folk songs. Besides the usual instruments such as guitars, bass and drum kit on the album are sounding rabab, harmonica, mridang etc.
The release can rightfully be called the foundation, truthful and native, it connotes with real strength and power of roots.
