Customer Reviews

Not the origional theme songs by the origional artists.

Where is TV Tunes when you need them? Lots of great songs here but they are not the origional theme songs by the origional artists. Take a listen to the samples of All in The Family, Green Acres, The Addams Family, and so on. If I want to hear someone sing these great theme songs, then I will record myself singing them the next time I see these shows on TV. (And I will have saved myself 99 cents a song to boot!) :)

A disturbing trend...

I've only had ITunes for a short time, but looking around lately, i've noticed a disturbing trend of many "albums" on ITunes that claim to be a collection of famous television, movie, wrestling, video game, super hero and cartoon theme songs only to be incredibly cheap, badly played, poor excuses for fake versions and having them be charged standard album price for them. I'm all for actual tribute albums of actual groups, when they are played or performed reasonably well, but there are so many "theme song" collections that are really badly played inexcuably bad fakes that the authors and Itunes are hoping they can con people into getting or paying for with their own money. It's seriously beginning to look like there is a definate effort here to rip off unassuming people of their money for badly performed, cheap "fake" versions of classic theme songs on ITunes. For shame.

Caution NOT ORIGINAL

Don't let "Various artists" fool you into thinking these are the real thing! I just played a sample of "All in the Family" and it was so obvious that the first voice was not even close to Carroll O'Connor's. I'm very disappointed in itunes for even having such tripe on their site. DO NOT BUY THIS!
