Clean, Crisp, and Classy
This guy knows how to get in your head. Really it's the only CD of his I will listen to, the other ones are kinda rock/disco mix-ups, this one is nice, mellow jazz-pop, perfect stuff to wind down with on sunshiny Sunday mornings. Also, any fans of Dave Matthews will not be disappointed with this album. So if you like your jazz clean, your lyrics catchy, and your ears tickled, then buy this piece of Goat.
Excellent CD and even better live
This is a quality CD. It is great to listen to in the car, at work, or at home, just unwinding. The lyrics are no-nonsense and the tunes catchy. Worth adding to the ipod forever. I saw him live and he is even better there!
Some Artists Simply Should Be More Famous!
I saw Goat live warming up for Madeline Peyroux and got hooked instantly. All of My Friends is a terrific listen, but this one is really great. He writes great songs with fascinating lyrics - all in varying musical styles. Monsters, Church Bells and Rome may be my personal faves on this CD, but I'm not sure I can fairly pick one...get it and enjoy it!
