Great album!! Great Chicago band!!!
I’ve been following Two Ton Anvil since the very beginning from when they played some of there first shows. One shows that stands out in my mind are when they played the House of Blues in Chicago opening up for Five Finger Death Punch, Bury Your Dead, etc. It’s been very exciting to watch this great band climb the ranks of the local metal community in Chicago. This is a group that shouldn’t go unnoticed. Two Ton Anvil will have no problem spreading far and wide with local and world wide success. There a unique band that combines several genres of rock/metal with an onslaught of dual guitars and dual singers. I urge anyone who’s into metal to pick up this debut release.
Great combo of new and old metal!
A a metal fan and fellow Chicagoan it's refreshing to hear a band like "TWO TON ANVIL"! Two vocalists/guitarists putting down real vocals (Not that Cookie Monster Crap) and delivering the goods with a fat guitar sound. The bass slams to keep the rhythm tidy and the drums bring the right amount of kick and punch for the genera. "TWO TON ANVIL" gives us great modern sound while paying homage to the school of old. Got to give them top marks for this freshman effort. Can't wait to see them live. Cheers.
