I caught Tyler Perry on Tom Joyner this morning, jumped on itunes and downloaded the ST. What can I say? It sounds like a playlist I would make for myself. I love music and try to stay on top of the latest so yes, I was a little disappointed that a portion of it was older pre-recorded music but some of it wasn't. The hook for me was Jennifer Holiday's "Givin' Up." Listening to this out pouring of emotion pained me, but it moved me too. Isn't that what music is supposed to do? Can't wait for the movie to drop.

I hav never taken the time to write a review, until today. This is the third Tyler Perry soundtrack i hav to date, and by far THE BEST! Not even because i can relate to the title, but because each song allows me to feel every emotion i hav experientced with relationships, my once apon a time marriage, love, lost, pain and joy's.... the track Who Am I to Say was my selling point. I don't know exactly who the artist Hope is but by Mr. Perry putting her and the others songs together for this album gives me HOPE for a better tomorrow in my search for a new love.
