An Amazing Listen

I first found out about Dan Black in class, my professor showed us the video for "Symphonies" because of it's use of after effects, and I loved the song and video. I listened to the rest of the album and loved every second of it! I would recommend it to anyone who
remotely likes indie/pop/alternative.

Honestly this is the best album I have heard in years. It's a mood album, a driving album, and a all around listener. So many different moods to be set with this music. While managing to stay with an electronic feel there is a chill out element in the back of every song. If ur looking for something to run to, dance to, cry to, or otherwise live to, this album will fully accomodate all of ur needs. Dan Black ftw!

One of the vanguard artists in the U.K.'s genre-swirling wonky pop movement, Dan Black brought his combination of pop, rock, dance, and hip-hop flavors to light in 2008 with his hit single "Yours." After spending four years playing guitar in the alt-rock band the Servant, Black left London for Paris. The 2008 solo track "HYPNTZ" — a mix of the lyrics from the Notorious B.I.G.'s "Hypnotize" with a sample of Rihanna's "Umbrella" underneath — announced his return home. The funky single "Alone"...
