Album Review

With clear, crisp vocals, bright arrangements, and lyrics that give the praise & worship genre a shot of urban cred, Isaac Carree's debut solo album, Uncommon Me, quickly shot to the top of the gospel charts soon after it was released. Using several producers, including Warryn "Baby Dubb" Campbell, Gerald Haddon, Eric Dawkins, and Antonio Dixon, Carree has wisely fashioned an accessible, coherent, and refreshing set that remains true to the heart of sacred music while gently expanding its horizons.
