good buy, off under endlless sky
ive heard a lot of touching songs in my 30 years of existancee.
the song goodbye on this album, literally brings terars to my eyes, not like a tear, i cry. i cry becsuse the song hits home,and hard,every lisen. the insturments complimenting the beautiful and meeningly heartfelt lycrics. we all lost someone here or three, but look a a picture of them, close your eyes and live in memory for the songs touching moments.
1 person in psrticuar always comes in to mind, a girl named Beth, the heart of my life at the time, and whats left, still around today.
the song could be applied to anyone your missing, you know theyre gone forever from the way you once knew then, and portrays the way it is after they're gone so emotionally, with the best insturments to accompany.

Don't see much Beneath the Surface
Okay. It's not a bad pop album. But this effort lacks the richness of Beneath the Surface. Gone are the sweeping vistas and lush keyboards. Quine still has a great voice, but I think she is best when using her voice as an instrument in tune with the rest of the music (ala Beneath the Surface and Delerium tracks). Being placed out in front of a more minimalistic approach makes Balligomingo distinctly more pedestrian pop. It's fine. But it's not what you expect either. (That said, "Good Bye" is a pretty good song.) Go seek out SleepTheif and hope Balligomingo comes back strong next time around.

When I am down, I play this album and it picks me right up. It's very beautiful fulfilling music that speaks to the heart and the soul.
The female lead singer's voice is gorgeous, lush and full of character.
