The $10 Remix...
Make no bones about it, The Cure's "Underneath the Stars" remix is the best song on this soundtrack. Ten bucks is a bit much for one tune however. Thanks iTunes for keeping the "Album Only" spirit alive! [That's a joke and if you want to squash the mandatory album purchase b.s. then you should agree with this.]
Better than Twilight
The Underworld albums are always top-notch. This one is no different. Totally worth the money, which is rare these days.
BUY THIS ALBUM if...
... 1. you like darker rock/dance music 2. if you like remixes When i first heard the premier song on the album thats what got me hooked on wanting to purchase it once it came out, plus I love remixes and saw there was amazing bands on here like the cure, drop dead gorgeous, alkalkine trio, thrice, afi, etc. Then i bought it and thought it was good but at first thought it sounded all alike since the majority on the songs are by the same remixer. But then they started to grow on me and there hasn't been more than a day where i haven't listened to the album. Sure, there are songs i don't prefer that much, but overall this is a great album with songs you can dance to and rock out too!
