what an awesome effort by Morello to get the union message across through music. being a proud union worker, i am happy to hear music that supports the blue collar men and women of the U.S.A that help this country running, fed, educated, protected, etc... With the recent attack on unions across this country, it is nice to hear support from people who have the ability to get the messege across through music. nicely done! thank you
Great EP
Funny to hear people dog on Tom Morello because of his politics, when his entire career has been built on the same thing. News Flash: Rage Against the Machine was/is also a political band. In regards to this EP, It's a mix of cover songs and originals. Morello continues to be a beacon of light to the revolutionaries in this country. His music transcends both parties, and connects to the people over politics.
Seriously, people?
If you think a Tom Morello album isn't going to be political then you've been listening to the wrong artist for two decades. Rage was the same way. This is an extension from those days and in my opinion a more compelling one at times. Woody Guthrie would be proud. I reccomend this album.
