This song is realy bland and generic. It lacks the creative chaotic energy that makes Foxy Shazam who they are. The chourus is pretty catchy, but it just screams "PLEASE PLAY ME AT SPORTING EVENTS AND PAY ME ROAYALTIES." My point being proven by the songs scheduled appearance at this years Super Bowl. I've been following them since 2005 and I'm really proud of them but I'm just not feeling their new direction.
Foxy is amazing!
Foxy does it again. I've been waiting for this song since I saw them play it live back in 2009. Maturing from The Flamingo Trigger did not slow them down one bit. Foxy will always be one of my favorite bands.
dig a little deeper...
i don't believe that this song can be judged by the 30 second sound byte. if you listen to the entire songs' lyrics (myspace.com/foxyshazam) you quickly learn that the song is no more about sports than scrambled eggs, mickey mouse or queens 'we are the champions'. this is a positive, motivational song about not giving up. believing in yourself and pushing ahead when others tell you that you can't... deep song, great message, catchy tune. sounds like a winner!
