Sha Stimuli has been bubbling in the background for many years now, and basically grew up in the industry; his brother is well-known producer Lord Digga (Biggie, Ol' Dirty Bastard, Masta Ace, etc.), and he spent some time as an intern at Roc-A-Fella before he got his deal. He was featured as an Unsigned Hype in The Source back in 2002, has weathered plenty of label drama, and released an abundance of mixtapes, but nothing really stuck. His official debut album My Soul to Keep finally dropped in 2009, and Garden of Eden Vol. 1 serves as another mixtape to keep his name fresh in people's ear. Lyrically, he has a very dense and wordy style, fitting in as many rhymes and syllables as possible while the production here is all over the place, from brash anthem beats to mellow soul-drenched joints. "Unsung Epilogue" and "Can't Stop" are standouts.

Sha Stimuli is one of those rappers who might come up in a conversation and people will look at you like, who is that? Sadly enough only a few people are paying attention to the music Stimuli is producing. He addresses the emotions that most rappers today are afraid to address with the NY style of rhyming that we all miss. Can't go wrong with this album or My Soul to Keep.

Stimuli is keeping the true essence of Hip Hop alive!!!!!

This album is major!!!!!!! Stimuli has been putting in serious work for years. Where do I start! Every time he gets an opportunity to spit he always comes through. From his albums to the mixtapes he puts out quality material. He appreciates the true art of lyrics. As far as the hottest cut on Garden of Eden goes it would be "Televised Revolution" with Mickey Factz!!!!!! Man, they went in on this joint! "Insanity" was nice too!! As far as cats just getting introduced to Stimuli check for some of his mixtapes listed below. Let's face it, the game has shifted and it isn't often you come across quality material that you can kick back and vibe to!!!
