Don't miss this album
A great, fun, well written and executed album.The kind of album you don't mind putting on repeat! Russ' vocals are soulful and smooth and a strong drums/bass combo gives great drive to the songs. You can tell these guys have honed their sound long before they went to the studio. I've seen these guys live a couple times and they never fail to put on a good show in small venues or large. Can't wait until their new CD is out this spring. I've heard a bunch of the new songs live and it's gonna be even better than this one!
Great tunes, even better live
Like the other reviewers, I agree that Fundamental Elements are "off the hook" and very unique. I have never heard music quite like their music. I look forward to hearing their new album with the added keys. If you ever get a chance to see them live, don't pass it up! They are one of the most entertaining bands I have experienced.
missing the keyboardist
I just saw these guys last night and they are super fun live, so I checked them out on iTunes. Apparently, they recently added a keyboardist to the band. Listening to this album, I really missed the rhodes action which addes some serious groove and funk. I'm looking forward to their next release! Hollah!
