listen, if you like to get dirty and listen to reggae, this is the album for you. i've been seeing this band since dub side of the moon and after you hear their music and see them live so shall you.

Love this vibe. Very musical, you can tell this is a group that has been on the road together for a minute. The songs get better with each listen, which is rare these days.

i heard a few of these songs live and am very happy to hear the studio versions now. i really like "bed of rose" best. there is more to this band than the tributes. see them live to fully understand!

New York City's Michael G. (born Michael Goldwasser) and Ticklah (born Victor Axelrod) are the two longtime friends who form the Easy Star All-Stars. Goldwasser had been playing guitar with the R&B band Special Request, but after five active years the band broke up. Around this time, the guitarist turned his attention to reggae and formed the Easy Star All-Stars with former Special Request keyboardist Ticklah.
