iTunes Review

Until the End of Time draws from the massive amount of outtakes 2Pac recorded for his final album, The Don Killuminati: The 7 Day Theory. Rather than simply rehash the old music, executive producers Afeni Shakur and Suge Knight invited longtime 2Pac producers Johnny J and QD3 to design new beats around the vocal tracks. “Breathin,” “This Ain’t Livin’,” “F**k Friendz” and N****z Nature” retain 2Pac’s classic sound while appealing to the tastes of 2001-era rap fans. The title track is based on Mr. Mister’s 1985 hit “Broken Wings,” and contains some of Tupac’s most poignant confessions: “Please Lord forgive me for my life of sin / My hard stare seem to scare all my sister's kids / So you know, I don't hang around the house much / This all-night money making got me outta touch.” After his death 2Pac’s legacy expanded far beyond the West Coast, but several of the best songs on Until the End of Time — including “F****n Wit the Wrong N***a,” “Good Life” and the exceptional DJ Quik-produced “Words 2 My Firstborn”— bring his music back to its G-funk roots.

Customer Reviews

It's 2Pac, enough said.

What's up with Terri's reviews!? Pac is overated! How dare u say that u dumbass! He always use to speak from his heart, and yes he always raps about the streets, but that's what he's been through. His music is 1000 times better than the rap today! Nough said! I'm out!

Not Bad

First of all, for all you fans news to 2pac and/or with your shoved up the mainstreams ass, this is not his best album, and no, he is not alive. Thats not to say that this is a bad album, though. There are plenty of highlights, such as the Johnny J-produced 'Breathin', 'All Out', 'Until The End of Time', 'Lastonesleft', and several others. This is a solid record, but it can't even begin to touch the records that he put out in his LIFETIME (that's right, he IS dead). Albums put out during his lifetime: 2pacalypse Now, Strictly For MY N.I.G.G.A.Z., Me Against The World, Thug Life Vol. 1, All Eyez On Me, and The Seven Day Theory. Until The End of Time is quality, as is most Tupac (with the exception of the catastrophic Loyal To The Game and his verse on Duets, in which his verses were augmented from their original forms). You won't be upset with this purchase if you are a Tupac fan, but he has better albums (my personal favorite is Thug Life Vol. 1), so you might also want to make a run down to the CD store and pick up some of his non-posthumous music. peace

This is the bomb

This CD is the bomb.Anyone who is disrespect or hates Tupac is wack and they have bad taste in music!!!!

Biography

Born: June 16, 1971 in Brooklyn, NY

Genre: Hip-Hop/Rap

Years Active: '90s

2Pac became the unlikely martyr of gangsta rap, and a tragic symbol of the toll its lifestyle exacted on urban black America. At the outset of his career, it didn't appear that he would emerge as one of the definitive rappers of the '90s — he started out as a second-string rapper and dancer for Digital Underground, joining only after they had already landed their biggest hit. But in 1991, he delivered an acclaimed debut album, 2Pacalypse Now, and quickly followed with a star-making performance...
