Response
In response to the recent anonymous review: Some of Gregory's songs are not autobiographical. He often writes from the perspective of another person. He is an observer and tries to get into the hearts and minds of those people he is observing. "Annabelle" is about his Mom from the perspective of her lover. "Sail The Sea" is written from the perspective of one of Gregory's lesbian friends about her life. Thank you to all fans (old and new) who have or will purchase Gregory's music.
Great Album from an Exceptional Songwriter
With six albums now under his belt, Gregory continues to prove that he's an exceptionally talented songwriter. There's a tremendous amount of diversity in the songs on this album which can only mean one thing... as with his previous albums, I'll continue to have new favorites on this album the more I listen. I love that!
Gregory is awesome.
This album is my favorite next to stark. I met the guy in a basement when he came to my friends house in Missouri and played us a one man show. (gotta respect someone who goes that far for the fans) He is amazingly talented. The reason some of his songs are about girls; he doesn't always write from his own perspective. The song "Sail the Sea" on Stark is about his lesbian friend.
