So Darn Good
Holy Cripes! Hard to explain. So maybe an analogy. It's like your whistling down the blacktop in your old Crown Vic, when you're pulled over doing 80 in a 55, but you scream away free, no ticket, when all available patrols are called to a scene where some rascal chose that exact moment to stick up a bank two blocks away. Stoked. You glance skyward. Crank the volume back up. And toss a big hat tip once again to the other Mr. Trooper. Buy it.

Born and raised in New Jersey, Greg Trooper's songs have been recorded by the likes of Steve Earle and Vince Gill. In the early '70s, Trooper left the folk clubs of Greenwich Village for the music scene of Austin, TX, before moving to Lawrence, KS, where he entered college and continued to hone his guitar, singing, and songwriting skills. He returned to New York for the '80s and part of the '90s, where he recorded his first two records: We Won't Dance and the critically acclaimed Everywhere. The...
