Album Review
This ambient group often sinks in its own self-importance, creating pseudo-neo-classical music out of found sounds and electronic gadgetry. Live instruments are applied more liberally on this outing, and they surprisingly don't get in the way of all the other things going on. But Ur-klang Search is overlong and ultimately never parts from of its dull, sedate groove.

Ambient duo the Dylan Group teamed Dylan Cristy (a noted jungle DJ as well as co-founder of the New York-based Bubble Core label) and Adam Pierce (also known for his work as the anagrammatic Mice Parade).
