expectations fulfilled...
After hearing the Two Become One single, and becoming quite excited about hearing the entire album, to say "I'm not disappointed" would be a massive understatement. Let me say that again, MASSIVE. This is one of the truly talented new electro-pop artists that you need to hear, and when I say that, I mean you need to hear Haberdashery yesterday. Why are you even still reading this review? Press "Buy" now.
It Gets Better With Each Listen
I absolutely LOVE the new album! Haberdashery's thoughtful lyrics and addictive synth pop melodies give this album so many layers of depth, I get something new out of it with each listen. This is a huge step in this act's development and new and old fans will get something wonderful the richness of Valence (the album) and the song is one of my favorites. Stars, I Try To Tell You, and Take It Slow also have high frequency on my playlist.
A must have for any synth-pop fan!
Haberdashery's 4th album, VALENCE, has fast become one of my favourites! I did not think it could get any better than Aletheia, but it has! Fans of synth-pop staples Erasure, Depeche Mode, and Yazoo will be quite impressed! Personal faves for me are "Two Become One" and "I Love You Too" with "Home" recently added to that list! The entire album is a magical journey through synth-pop utopia! Enjoy! I am!
