Beautiful. These performances make this music seem so easy, so simple, and yet the cycles and patterns contained therein are incredibly sophisticated. And what a palette of timbres: viola, bassoon, celeste, mandola (I had to look that one up)... and fans of My Brightest Diamond's Shara Worden will be duly dazzled by her contribution. Every once in awhile, I hear music that reminds me why I've dedicated myself to it, reminds me of how vital music can be. These musicians are the real deal, everyone. Please, please pay attention.
