Sickeningly Good

Finally, this album has been made available to American audiences without having to pay upwards of $25 for a copy of the disc. While I think that purchasing the actual album is good, the inclusion of this into iTunes' library is wonderful, along with The Principle of Evil Made Flesh. If you like ANY of the band's material, pick this up along with the other album. Principle may suffer from poor production in places, but this is Cradle at their prime. Rivaling Dusk and Her Embrace, one of the only albums missing on iTunes, featuring bombastic songs such as the classic "The Forest Whispers My Name," the truly extreme "Rape and Ruin of Angels," and the epic "Queen of Winter, Throned" which may very well be Cradle's best song ever. Every song on here is a black metal gem (yes, this album IS black album unlike later Cradle albums), purely amazing and they have all been played live numerous times. This is not "Nymphetamine" Cradle. This is serious music that will blow out your eardrums.

Masterpiece

This is Cradle of Filth's finest release next to Dusk and Her Embrace. EVERY track on here is stunning. And for the price, it cannot be beat (as the CD version is at import prices)!

quality album

Even though cradle released this quickly to get off their record label, it's still an excellent album.
