Album Review
Before even releasing his debut album Venni Vetti Vecci, Ja Rule had made a name for himself appearing on cuts by Mic Geronimo, DMX, and Jay-Z, which naturally increased expectations for his first effort. Perhaps the expectations were raised a little bit too much, since Venni isn't the stunner some may have expected, but it nevertheless is a strong opening salvo. Ja Rule doesn't bend the rules of East Coast hardcore hip-hop enough to truly distinguish himself, but he does deliver a solid record, filled with tough party jams and good straight-ahead gangsta. If the record runs a little long, it nevertheless has enough fine moments to make this a promising debut.

Can't Hate on This
For a first debut Album Ja Rule came ridiculous hard. This whole album was banging in everybody whip and most people want to deny they even listen to Ja Rule. Lyrically, Ja Rule first effort at an album outshines most peoples first attempt. This album is hot. Even the intro is harder than a lot of people albums. A great album is an album you can listen to all the way through and you can do that with this album. The beats are hard and people just do not want to give Ja his props because 50 cent demolished his career. If you a man and can have your own opinion rather than going with the flow like females, cop this album and guaranteed a real hip hop listener would not be disappointed
Murda 4 Life
Ja Rule His Debut Album ''Venni Vetti Vecci''.Which was a little start to make Ja Rule famous but this was before he was with ashanti or even had beef with 50 cent.If you a fan of the love songs that Ja Rule did with ashanti then this is not your album.Ja Rule is too gangsta on this album there's hardly any of his famous love songs Just your regular Shoot 'em Up Selling Drugs and being the toughest rapper. But what makes this album good is the production Irv Gotti did a good job with the production of this album. There's lots of highlights in this album from Holla,Holla,Kill 'em all,It's Murda,Story To Tell,Murda 4 Life & Word Most Dangerous. If your a fan of east coast rap and have nothing better to listen to I suggest this album.
check the truth-if you can handle it like a man
i dont understand that from 1999 to 2003 you guys were ridin ja's tip so much that you guys literally thought he was the greatest on the planet and i remember that very well, and think about it, 50 cent was new back then and of course in hip hop theres competition, and ja was king, so what do you think hell do considering that hes famous for beefing with everyone for publicity and sales-fat joe, d block etc., hell take him out by dissing him a bunch of times and wasn't even that good at dissing him till he got eminem and shady to really destroy him, and all these accusations that he copied 2pac dmx, there voice and lyrics, thats pure crap, first-nas, 2pac, bad azz, ray luv, dmx, az first lp and countless others who yall praise to death write lyrics in that context but with different words-the whole introspective/pain/remorse type lyrics, and i dare any one of you to point out a lyric that ja rule ever bit and pick any that jigga picked, as far as his voice/shaved head/bandana, dmx, nate dogg etc. were wearing bandanas the same way, and ive heard ja's interviews and its obvious thats his natural voice, and i can name you hundreds that shave their head, and today we all know that 50 isn't real no mo, but you still hatin even though ja was right the whole time, and would someone who got their whole style from someone else be able to have longevity for 6-7 albums selling millions per lp, you need to be your own person instead of being shook like 5 year olds, this album lyrics/beats/vibe i think is the absolute bomb and before you talk trash actually listen and study the lp first. im out
