Very Best of Country Comfort & Billy Kaui, Vol. 4 is a 14-track collection that contains "We Are the Children," "Honky Tonk Wines," "Sun Lite, Moon Lite," "Mr. Reggae," "Mama," "Close to You," "Rainy Day Song" and "Closer, Closer." While there are better Country Comfort collections available, this is still a solid effort and contains some songs that haven't made it to other comps.

COUNTRY COMFORT & BILLY KAUI
My step-father was Jack Kaui (Billys older brother). Billy and the band would come to kailua from waimanalo to jam at our house at least twice a month before the album took off. My uncle Billy died to young but his music carries on. He would be so stoked and proud to know that his music and the bands sound was timeless. I remember the day Billy Kaui died. I was very young, and my older sister listened to his music (and country comfort) a lot...they announced it on the radio and it didnt hit me until I got older how great a talent he possessed...and how much the local hawaii music scene had lost. (along with Macky Feary) One of my favorite local artists and also one of my heroes. I love his work. R.I.P. Billy.
