HOLY AWESOME BAND BATMAN!!!

Yes it is true this CD is sooo good even the infamous BATMAN would listen to it... and I mean every single song. Akissforjersey is a band that has the potential to give even the JOKER a good run for his money.

one of the

absolute best albums i've ever bought. this band has progressed so much since their previous release, which says a lot because it was epic too, but this cd gives a much more mature and faith-conscious sound to it. Before it was good, technically sound, interesting and varied, now it's even better, flows better, even more interesting, conceptual and the vocals all around are even better than last time. If you aren't a Christian you'll still enjoy this cd, and this seriously could save your soul.

The next step for AKFJ

As much as I liked their first album, it wasn't without it's imperfections (in my opinion, production quality being the most obvious). That's not to say it didn't have it's moments, either. Overall, Zach Dawson's vocals were solid on their first album, but the production seemed to lack somewhat when it came to the guitars (and that's not to criticize the guitars, either, there were some great guitar parts). I feel like the overall production quality of "Victims" has improved on and surpassed that of "Keep Your Head Above the Water". Dawson's vocals are just as good as on their last effort and his scream has evolved to a much more guttural sound (though not a "growl".....think along the lines of Spencer Chamberlain's change from "They're Only Chasing Safety" to "Define the Great Line") ;but this time the guitar parts are further complemented by a much clearer sound. Definite signs of maturity for these guys, I just hope that they'll start getting some more recognition.
