A decent follow-up to their debut ep
I downloaded this album since I enjoyed their debut ep: In Our Weakness. This is a decent follow up to a good debut. This is Finnish progressive Christian metal. As always, lyrically, they are bold about their desire for you to know Christ and His redemption. I liked the female vocals from the last album but some of the singing on this album just doesn't seem to fit in with the tempos and writing of the music. Some of the melodies are simply ruined at places. Yet there are some gems here. Download a few of the highlights before getting the whole thing. The two instrumentals are good: Towards a New Dawn and Eternal Sanctuary (likely one of the best songs on the album). Broken Chains, The Blood of the Lamb and A Sigh of Redemption are my other favorite picks.
