TOP ALBUM
If you like The Cure, OMD, Visage, The Human League, Pink Floyd, you will definately like, (if not love) this album.
This is/ was a great, great album,
& it influenced me personally greatly, but here remastered it re-orders the trax, adds four tracks that were not on the vinyl (and prolly shouldn't have been released -- except for archival stuff). The quality of the remaster doesn't do justice to this album either--the original Connie Plank / Ultravox production and song order is absolutely, totally brilliant - in ultra wide stereo, and this remaster is almost mono & lifeless in comparison. Worth it anyway if you don't have it.
Oh Vienna.
If anything Vienna is a masterpiece in craft. This song is pure genius and if there's any one song on this album this is it. Brilliant composition!
