Vineyard Community Church: Experience Live Worship from the Vineyard

this album is awesome. i was there the night it was recorded. it was a wednesday night in february, 2008. this is a live album from the southside vineyard community church in greenwood, in. the night was awesome, some great moments were birthed. some of those moments feel much like they did the night this album was recorded. there are some awesome songs on this record. a few are established, whereas the real crown jewel on this record is a song written by Jonathan Bricker and Christina Prince. titled Create a Passion, it seems pretty evident that God has created a passion in them. the verses and chorus are lyrically solid. the bridge breaks down to strings vocals and acoustic. then it builds up again just to explode. Tom Combs' guitar solo towards the end of the bridge is phenomenal. the guy knows what he's doing and sounds great doing it. the track that follows Create a Passion is a song written by Brian Doerksen. Holy God has been recorded a fair number of times by various artists, but the keys throughout the song really set this version apart. this song has a certain feel to it now. Christina Prince and Trent Sturgill's vocals fit well in this song. if you weren't going to buy the whole album you need to buy Happy Day, Create a Passion, Holy God, Everything, and Saving Grace.
