Great Album!! I've been following 18k for a while now and I find this album and other "home recorded" sounds to have untouchable style and sound. If you don't like how it sounds turn on the radio. Or go grab some "now that's what i call music". Critics have become too high and mighty. So much talent is misunderstood due to ratings and people like Heather. Hopefully 18k and labels like Moodgadget will get more recognition.
Another overly used "Home Recorded" sound.
I'd have really liked to hear it without the obviously intentionally reduced production value. The music is buried behind muddy, bad 4-Track recorder sounding recordings. Future musicians and producers heed this plea... Don't do this anymore. 1 or 2 songs is fine, but not a whole album. There is no excuse. And it is boring.
In this case it is a deal breaker for me. It's a shame too. It sounds like it would have been good without the bedroom 4-track detriment.
