If You Like LKJ and Mutabaruka you will love this album!
Haji Mike and Dub Caravan have put together an amazing project featuring the words of longtime Cypriot songwriter/poet Haji Mike, and the rich dub reggae flavors of London based producer Dub Caravan. This album is a must have for fans of Haji Mike, but also for anyone who loves Dub Poetry as a genre. The album is a journey and will take the listener on a ride that includes some great themes, but also has 5 pure dub tracks as well. Enjoy this album and let some other folks know!
Amazing Work
This album has a really unique and different sound for the genre, and combined with Haji Mike's trademark voice and socially conscious spoken word it really works. My favorite is The World of the Wasteless but I also recommend The Mines of Africa and All I Want to Be if you really want to hear something different--these have different musical influences that go beyond the traditional reggae genre.
