Album Review
Vital Idol is a sort of remixed greatest-hits collection, gathering some of Billy Idol's best tracks and extending them all past the five-minute mark. It doesn't really work as a hits collection, since it's missing key songs like "Rebel Yell" and "Eyes Without a Face," and most of the dance remixes are repetitious and uninteresting compared to the originals. It's most worthwhile for "Dancing With Myself" and the live hit version of "Mony Mony," both of which appeared in their original Idol versions on the Don't Stop EP.

by VanHalenizerAs ppl have said i dont no what the deal is but, there is no live version of mony mony to be found here, and i honestly dont no if there ever was, like honestly all the compilations have is the studio version and this is just a remix. where is this mythical so called "chart topping live version" that everyone talks about
Flesh for Fantasy
by BuzzyPThe remix here of Flesh For Fantasy, featuring screaming guitars atop the moody original, took a relatively mild album track and turned it into a concert staple.. When Steve Stevens hit that introductory wail, the crowd went wild. You have to wonder if this is what they had in mind all along, or just got bored one day and started noodling with it.
