Awesome
Caught the album release last night at The Stage, blown away by their energy and rhythm
Bringing back the freshness
Over the last 5- 10 years hip hop has been blended with so much pop and mainstream sounds that it become lost in a sub genre that only the brave are willing to classify. But, when it comes to ArtOfficial there's no denying that this is what good hip hop sounds like. It's jazz roots and true sound really cuts through the BS of today's music. Lyrics with meaning, and a live musical backing that takes me back to the days when there was an Art to rapping. These are Real Musicians. No electronic blips and beeps. A live drum track!! Great jazzy keys. Gritty and funky bass lines. A horn section that takes you on a roller coaster ride through your imagination. And, if that's not enough they bust out and Orchestra and Drumline track to mix up the style a bit. These guys can throw down with the best of them. A refreshing sound that is hard to find these days.
Big fan
Saw them live, instant fan. Modern jazz hip hop feel to it. Talented group.
