Absolutely Incredible.

The entire album is endlessly replayable and it flows seamlessly from beginning to end. Still, "Tessio" is the obvious standout, perhaps the greatest song the 2000s have yet to offer us, regardless of the genre. Highly recommended - - especially for house fans, who hopefully already have it.

Excellent Deep Sexy House album

I highly recommend this album that provides deep, warm, erotic and futuritic deep house sound. Imagine yourself in Blade Runner and hanging late at night in the hottest underground spot in town...This is the soundtrack.

Amazing.

I've heard a lot of terms applied to this album; that's "house", that it's "progressive house", that it's not house but "glitch pop" and all of that, but all of that is irrelevant. What it is is an outstanding and moving electronic music album made by a truly original personality. Sasu Ripatti (Luomo) takes his ambient experiemental work as Vladislav Delay and combines it with a beat that subtly and ever changes. The result is magic. While the tracks are very long, you almost don't notice the length as the song weaves through your mind. From what I understand, Luomo uses a lot of live manipulation to the songs, and it seems to show with all of the cut up vocal samples and dubby overtones and effects. It's an album that every electronic music fan should experience, regardless of the genre labels thrown at it.

Initially, Luomo was just another of Finnish producer Vladislav Delay's many monikers, but after a few EPs for Force Tracks, it became far and away his most celebrated and commercially viable. Delay (born Sasu Ripatti) first began to garner acclaim in 1999, when the Berlin-based boutique label Chain Reaction released a series of experimental dub EPs bearing his name.
