Fantastic album
Someone's review really said this dentist's office music? what?! What kind of dentist's office do you go to? One that plays awesome music apparently. This is a fantastic album. I saw all three of them at the blue note a few days ago, the day this album was released in the US, and they killed it. Her touch and finesse on this album is a welcome improvement over her other (also excellent) albums, and the chemistry of the band is very apparent in the tightness of the dynamics, and in their complementary style. I think it is hard to grasp how large a swath of styles this album encompasses by listening to a preview clip, the songs quite varied, even within the compositions themselves, and these previews don't do them justice.
Stunning
This album is the perfect balance of virtuosity and whimsy. The band has a chemistry that brings out each member's "voice" in perfect harmony. Bravo. Well done. To those who gave poor reviews, this music is obviously beyond your capacity of appreciation.
Magnificent
She's got more musicality in one of her pinky's then most of today's chart toppers combined .......
