Seven Tracks of Delicious Rock Goodness!!!!
On a day in age where the rock industry seems to be hooked up to life support comes a set of seven tracks by Ft. Lauderdale up & comers Ghost of Gloria that are nothing short of pulsating, rivoting and just down right pure rock--the way it SHOULD be. From frontman Johnny's ripping vocals, bassist Mark's commanding bass lines to the professionally trained-combined-with-raw brutal talent Marl P.'s thunderous drum beats and adding lead guitarist Jeff's scorching guitar riffs (hey, he learned how to play guitar one day by picking one up and strumming Randy Rhodes section of "Crazy Train"!!) who makes his guitar sing as much as Johnny throughout the EP--GOG is on their way up and fast. Energetic tracks like "Better Off Alone", "Side of Me" and "Run Away" will have your adrenaline pumping while the mellow but fierce "Fight" will hit on your heart strings. "The Evidence" (produced by Don Gilmore--Linkin Park, Lit) is just the icing on the cake of an EP that will grip your attention on every level--and never let go. GOG's lyrics are just as refreshing and real as the music lending just another avenue this group will quench your thirst for good, pure rock. I would say the best collection of tracks on one disc by a band since 2006's "Phobia" by Breaking Benjamin. Once you put this disc in your cd player, you will not take it out.

This band and this album are amazing! I haven't been able to go for more than a few days without listening to it. Every song is pure gold. If I had to play favorites I would pick Better Off Alone, Side of Me, The Evidence, and Run Away, but every song rocks; there's no filler here. Buy this album! You won't be sorry. And support your local music scene! This is definitely a band that you will be hearing more of in the not too distant future. Oh yeah, and GOG rocks my socks! ;-)
