Great Album!
This album is a great find! If you like the souds of easy flowing music, you'll love this band.. What a great find! Songs to watch out for: Tow Stern Feet, Lessons On Love and Junk, Big Small & Come Sunday
This band is from Phoenix?
I know it sounds trite… to start a review with this comment: I can’t believe this band hails from my hometown! A stunning debut, that rewards ears with lovely nuances on repeated listens. A pinch of Iron & Wine, a dash of Simon & Garfunkel, then sprinkled with some lovely sparse piano and/or fiddle moments. This is a sophisticated adult pop record in the vein of The Innocence Mission, The Blue Nile and The Prayer Boat. Stand out tracks are: “Lessons On Love And Junk”, “Of Things Sown”, “The Sodium Lights” and “My History Bore A Knife”. Can’t wait to catch these guys live, soon.
Great Sound, Great Find
Great album, I was blown away how they capture such a mood in their music. We downloaded two days ago and have not stopped it once. Vocals are solid, lyrics are insightful, piano adds such a great compliment to each track.
