A New Era of Goth Rock
The Daughters of Bristol are a great band from Seattle (goth, post-punk, brit-rock). If you like David Bowie, The Sisters of Mercy, The Psychedelic Furs, and Bauhaus you will totally dig them. Be on the look out for this up and coming band.
Classic Goth Rock With A Modern Spin
I must agree with Postpunk's evaluation of this band. However, I would venture to state that they have gone further musically with their sound to incorporate the best elements of Sisters of Mercy, Bauhaus and David Bowie and created it as their own niche sound. Great bands like this are VERY rare in the U.S. Further, this music is a welcome respite from all the electronic influences encroaching the underground clubs these days. If anyone is a fan of the aforementioned bands then there is no question about it, you simply MUST own this music. Listen to the samples and get hooked like so many others have!
