Album Review
With Voyage, Schiller combines the elation and clarity of Chicane, Banco de Gaia, and German trance with the low-key tenor of major-label new age. The music is largely painted with rich hypercolor, lots of fertile blues and jades, but stacked with vocalists who, like Kim Sanders in the pop-leaning "Dancing With Loneliness," tend to weigh down the plush ideals of the band's not unpleasant energies. When the instrumentals take precedence, Schiller reasserts itself as a self-important electronic act that really should be nothing else. "Solitude," and in fact much of the album, may as well be Enigma's "Sadeness" with island trimmings instead of Gregorian frost.

An Eclectic Journey That Flows
This is a timeless cd that I can play from begining to end. "Dancing With My Lonliness" has a haunting seduction to it, "Ruhe" has a unique club feel that stands alone, "Dream Of You" stands out as a great duo. Im not sure who rated this anything less. This is a Buy Album that will deliver!
Now ish the time on Schiller when ve have to listen to him talk
While you might not hear it in the online samples, Schiller's need to "guide" you through the moderately interesting musical tapesries with his laughable narration causes serious breaks in continuity. Listen to "The End" for a taste of what is to come before buying, and maybe think twice. Some of the music is quite listenable, but to keep yourself (and any others in the room) from snickering, you might have to spend some time to adjust the start and end points in iTunes to keep Schiller from narrating through your party mix.
