Not hokey
Overall nicely done. Drums are just one component of the music, not preeminent (which is how I like it). Eerie at times, adding to the mystery. Evocative, positive music. Avoids the hokiness some drumming ambient embodies. Recommended.
Wonderful Cubicle Music
As a cog in the machineries of government, I spend a lot of time in a cubicle farm. This album is wonderful as background music during the workday as it is highly listenable without demanding a great deal of attention...just what you want in the workplace environment. You can express your individuality without attracting negative attention and it won't put you to sleep.
