Can't decide which is my favorite anymore.
Another great song. For so many reasons! First, its so heartfelt (You should see the video as well, it adds up to the song) Second its so unpretentious, straight, honest. Pure Elliott personality. Third its not repeating lyrics much. Its more like a desperate love letter than a song. A stream of words coming out of a heart in pain. Pay attention to the lyrics, cause Elliott always does! Fourth its a catchy tune. Surprising as well, cause Elliott is trying to delve into all kinds of different sounds in this album. Each song is a surprise including this one Fifth... This song is a sequel to "Movin' On"! Have you ever heard of a sequel song? Well this is one of them! A journey of a heart, that wants to move on and says its done waiting, until it realises it can't go on without love. So it has to stay. And wait. Indefinitely. Elliott does it again. He delivers the best every time. He delivers his heart more than just a song. Well worth the buy, just like all the rest of the songs from his upcoming album that i've heard so far. 5 stars Elliott, once again!
Amazingly Beautiful
This is so great! I just broke up with my boyfriend and the thing is, this relates so much! I wish he had said all of this to me. In fact, I think if a guy actually said this to me, I would just totally melt and would let me know how he felt. "Baby, I will wait you" That is extremely honest first of all and it's so mournful and hopeful at the same time and I love the blend of a slow song with the piano harmony.
Not just another silly love song
Here it is...another gem from the master vocalist from Richmond., VA. Written by the same people that gave us Beyonce's last #1 hit (the European super-duo "Stargate"), it's the polar opposite of "Movin' On" lyrically. Smooth R&B stylings combined with a pop sentimentality and a strong hook spell hitmaking success for "potentially the best male singer ever" to come out of reality music television. Yamin's trademark emotional longing comes through in every note; be it lover's remorse or lover's desire. Simply amazing!
