Album Review
Real Music is one of the few labels left that really delivers music designed to relax in the best of the new age tradition. This veteran German composer and keyboardist doesn't do anything too fancy here — he just creates caressing ambiences and soft and dreamy piano melodies that he enhances with the occasional bass, guitar, and glockenspiel. Christoph Koch brings a playful folk element to "Following Stars" and the graceful, symphonic "Simply Great" with a gentle acoustic guitar, and "Christiane Boehm" chimes in every so often on flute. Although there is a free-floating element to the atmospheres Koch creates, most of the 16 tracks clock in like tightly structured pop tunes, and the melodies — and their innocent charm — seem to get more captivating as they go along. In a world so cynical, it's wonderful that people can take a CD cover of clouds and butterflies not only seriously, but also as an opening to a seriously joyful musical remedy.

Spa 73
I picked this up on Sirius Channel Spa 73. 99% of New Age music is mindless drivel, but this stuff has enough musicality to set some hooks. Berward keeps the typical new age cheesy soundscape cliches to a minimum...which is not to say his work is devoid of spacey sounds. If you are in the mood to let your mind drift, this stuff is alright. I would also recommend you check out Soulfood's Yoga Dream and Spiritual Massage, which are at a very high level relative to most of the crud in the genre.
Great album
As someone who loves listening to New Age music, I highly recommend this album 'cause it's good for relaxing and meditating. It has the ability to calm you down and keep you in control of your emotions. Go for it!
This album is Summer to me...
"Flight Being" transports me (even in the dead of winter) to a beautiful summer's day--butterflies, birds, bees working busily on flowers that are gently blowing in the wind. When I am stressed, I put this album on, it is so soothing, so ethereal, so calming.
It will be the best $10 that you ever spent.
