Listen and you WILL hear
Just when I thought music was all about playing it safe. This is exciting, tortured and real; it is the deconstruction of the soul,. It is NOT your father’s music. There is an amazing melting of words (well written and thought provoking lyrics) and sounds and sounds, layers of musical styles from the haunting waltz in Sister inhalation to exotic influence in Negative Heart Society. Walter and his Army take you on a trip a dark journey to familiar places. Yes I do highly recommend this album, each song is jewel to be savored, but in saying that I know not everyone will agree, this music is not on the edge it is beyond. The paradigm has shifted and cracked, Thank god

I remember seeing these guys once or fifty times in beantown. Whata show, the album is phenomenal but seeing them live is even better! Dark, brooding and folky, his newer stuff has a more cabaret style where this album is dark folk! Great voices great songwriting and great toy sounds!
