Decent Folk/Rock From an Undiscovered (as of yet) Artist

This album is Rebekah's latest attempt to capture the essence of life and love in seven tracks or less. And she does a fairly decent job. Wanderer, the title track, is a nice up-beat hit-the-road-on-a-sunny-day rock groove. Things settle with "Lakeshore Drive," a bittersweet ballad, and "On and On," a slow mellow groove about the harrows of relationships. Things pick up again with "Greatest Debate," which struggles with what it really means to love. "Sometimes Always Maybe" brings back some classic sounds with a nice Rhodes throughout and brings a bittersweet yet fond message. The album concludes with "Ghost," a simple acoustic ballad. Overall a somewhat generic sounding yet enjoyable album, with a few shining moments that make it worth the money. Rebekah proves herself to be a versatile musician and songwriter, and though the instumentation is rather similar throughout, the musical style is quite varied. Three stars.
