This is an outstanding collection of some of Ford's best known inspirational numbers, but live -- from his #1 classic prime time NBC series, The Ford Show.
The best TEF release since Amazing Grace!
Longing for Heaven
Hi. Yes I grew up with rock and Love many Christian bands ESP Mercy Me. My best friend died and Sadly started medicating not only chronic degenerative disc disease physical pain but also medicating the emotional pain after my best friend died. For you see she was our 94 year gentle, dignified grandmother. MIMI was my rock if you will-she taught me love is in the small everyday matters! I am so pathetic now after all these years that I am scared I may not qualify to enter Heaven, but listening to Tennessee Earnie Fords simple hymns from his album Wayfaring Soul the same way she and I used to do comforts and soothes me best. To the outside world I can light up a room. But, I feel like I am dying inside. If you happen to read this I wish you would ask Our Heavenly Father to intervene. Love, Mrs.Marcia Hampton. You are in my prayers dear hurting soul. Please just remember that we are saved by Grace, not by works. This is what Tennessee Ernie Ford is singing all about. We don't deserve heaven...not even Tennessee Ernie Ford, not even your sweet grandmother...but Jesus paid the price for all who ask. I know you are hurting. Please know that I am praying for you and I have no doubt that your grandmother is in heaven right now asking Jesus to comfort you and strengthen you. God bless.
