Allways On Time
James Hall & WAP are allways on time with the message you need to here The Blood, God Specializes and Hide Me I could eat, sleep and breath the tracks. I enjoyed this entire CD as well as all of the previous recordings released by James & WAP
The Greatest Ever
I don't think there is anyone in the entire music industry that can write music like James Hall, if you truly know music you can distinguish the minor chords, amazing vocal parts, and ragtime couture he and his choir are by far the greatest to hit the face of this earth!!!
Amazing Effort
Wow! You have to absorb this one over a few listens, but it's worth it. I'd suggest not listening to it with tiny earbuds because the horns stand out too much. At first I regretted purchasing it a little, because it's not nearly as accessible as the previous project "Live At Lincoln Center" was. "We Are At War " and "The Blood" make me think I'm listening to a Classical Gospel Funk Opera. It seems like they often hit every note accept the melody. It's also so wonderfully intricate and confidently handled that I can't help but imagine the rehearsal schedule it required. "So Good" will be stuck on repeat for me. Thank you James Hall and WAP for this project!
