Sweet, Folk-y Goodness
John Heart Jackie write songs that sound like they've always existed. Their sound is natural and honest, and singer/songwriter Jennie Wayne's voice is clear and sweet. They sound like a young Joni Mitchell that somehow fused molecularly with Patty Griffin and Old Crow Medicine Show. Calm and beautiful, haunting and unaffected, John Heart Jackie are good like your favorite snuggly sweater.
