Its like Chilling on a Beach.
Eastern Sun delivers again!!!! These guys know the meaning of chill. Their first album is awesome and ever since I have been hoping that they would come out with something great again.
"Days Gone By" and "Nuture" are two of my favs. "Rapture at Sea and Beautiful Being" of their first album are also very very cool.
Another great collection by Eastern Sun
An excellent example of trance/chill. Eastern Sun has surpassed their In Emptiness release with We Are One, in my opinion. I'm on my third listen as I write this, and I just love it.
On the whole, I find We Are One to be a little more energetic than In Emptiness, but that is not a problem.
I like how Eastern Sun has so many "layers" to their sound, and how seamlessly they blend and elevate/de-elevate these layers into the listening experience without being intrusive or obvious. In some respects, I am reminded of Jean Michael Jarre's classic Oxygene album in regards to style.
Very good music to actively listen to, or push into the background if need be. Awesome stuff. Looking forward to their next release, although this one will hold me for quite a while, and quite nicely.
If you like trance/chill, this album is for you. Destined to be a classic in the genre.
